Power points where you need them
Most older homes don't have enough GPOs in the right places. The kitchen has two outlets for six appliances. The home office runs off a power board. The garage has one outlet for the whole workshop.
Adding power points is straightforward work — I run the cable back to the board, install the new GPO, and you're done. Usually a half-day job for a few outlets.

About outdoor power points
Outdoor GPOs need to be weatherproof-rated (IP54 minimum) and on RCD protection. I install proper outdoor-rated outlets with weatherproof covers — not indoor GPOs bodged into a shed wall.
